Italian transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano says Tottenham have agreed a deal with Benfica for 25-year-old striker Carlos Vinicius.
As revealed That the deal will most likely be a loan switch with an option to buy the player next summer for £36.3m.
Interestingly, Spurs initially wanted to sign Carlos Vinicius earlier in the window but the price was too high.
With that said, the Portuguese side’s exit from the Champions League has helped matters slightly and the Lilywhites have between now and Monday to seal a deal.
That would take Spurs’ total number of summer transfer recruits up to six after Gareth Bale, Sergio Reguilon, Matt Doherty, Pierre Emile Hojbjerg and Joe Hart already completed their moves to the club.
